How long will it
take to process my timeshare donation?

So all donations are tax
deductible. All individual tax situations are different, so please check
with your tax professional to determine how you may benefit.
You will be given a
receipt and a formal letter of thanks
with our 501(c)3 Federal tax ID number
certifying that you have donated
your gift. This letter shows the IRS that you are authorized for a
charitable tax deduction.
How and when is the value
of my timeshare determined?
In short, the
IRS allows you, the donor, to assess the fair market value of
the gift. All individual tax situations are different, so please
check with your tax professional to determine how you may
benefit.

What do I need to

What and who is Eye Birth Defects Foundation (Gifts for Sight)?
Yaron S. Rabinowitz, M.D, founder
of the Eye Birth Defects Foundation, is a sub specialist ophthalmologist
specializing in the Cornea, Refractive Surgery and Hereditary Eye
Diseases. He obtained his subspecialty training at the USC/Doheny Eye
Institute and Johns Hopkins University. In 1990 Dr. Rabinowitz founded
the Cornea Genetic Eye Institute at
Cedars-Sinai Mark Goodson Building.
He has been the recipient of a
prestigious research grant sponsored by the National Eye Institutes of
Health since 1992. His research interests include studying the shape of
the cornea as it is applied to refractive surgery (corneal topography)
and the genetics of keratoconus, a genetic disease affecting the cornea.
He was the
Chief of Ophthalmology from 1996 to 2001 and is currently the Director
of Ophthalmology Research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a
Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute,
UCLA School of Medicine and was the recipient of the Jules Stein Alumni
Research Award in 1991, awarded for his work on innovative eye laser
surgery techniques.
